MyChelle Dermaceuticals NOTOX Anti-Wrinkle Serum

MyChelle Dermaceuticals NOTOX Anti-Wrinkle Serum promotes itself as a potent multi peptide blend aimed at improving skin texture and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

If you’ve already read my review on MyChelle Dermaceuticals Perfect C Serum then you already know I am truly a skeptic at heart until I can see some results. So with the NOTOX Anti-Wrinkle serum, I started out as a true skeptic once again. After 2 months of use, I most definitely felt my fine lines below my lower eyelids diminish as well as my skin texture firmer and tighter. Could it be psychological? Possible but let’s take a look at some of the ingredients:

The serum contains a multi peptide blend. So what are peptides? Peptides are compounds containing 2 or more amino acids and are the building blocks of proteins. They help send information from the brain to the body and are important players in collagen formation and breakdown. Peptides are key ingredients in many of the anti-aging products sold today.

Palmitoyl Tripeptide 38 or Matrixyl®Synthe’ 6 is the most popular signal peptide on the market today. Signal peptides may trigger wound healing mechanisms that activate fibroblasts and increase collagen production.

Longevicell® is an extract derived from the Myrtle shrub and has been shown to effectively slow down the aging process in the skin as well regenerate skin tissue cells.

Syn®-Tacks help to improve the structural integrity of the collagen and improve the molecular communication within the skin.

With all these collagen promoting benefits, it is indeed difficult to find anything to complain about with the serum. I have read some negative reviews regarding the MyChelle product line in general but I can only report what my own experiences are, so far they have been positive.

Though the actives are blended with glycerin, witch hazel water, grain alcohol and some plant extracts, the liquid maintains a light consistency and doesn’t irritate my skin at all. It has a nice light ginger floral aroma, is easy to apply and doesn’t leave a sticky feeling on the skin after drying. The bottle is white and ceramic like with an accompanying pump and air tight cap.

With biweekly use, I only experienced 1 or 2 pink bumps, hardly anything resembling a break out. Perhaps this was due to applying 2 serums at the same time (this and the Perfect C Serum).

After 2 months use, I indeed noticed less fine lines underneath the lower eyelids, firmer and tighter skin. I really feel my skin improved in overall texture and line invisibility. With my skin feeling pretty fabulous, I was definitely a happy customer and would make another purchase.

While using MyChelle Dermaceuticals NOTOX Anti- Wrinkle Serum, I also concurrently used their Perfect C serum. I cannot say for sure whether the skin benefits I noted were due to the combination use or more due to one serum. Mychelle Dermaceuticals does comment serums can be layered for multiple benefits.
