ANDALOU Naturals Blossom + Leaf Toning Refresher

Do you remember back in the day when we used to apply “Sea Breeze” to remove dirt and excess oils? Well, I was one of those teenagers. I still remember the yucky scent that overcame me after each use (blah). Once I no longer needed Sea Breeze, I cut it out of my skin care regimen for good (it is now 20 years later). Naturally, when I saw the Blossom + Leaf Toning Refresher, I couldn’t help but think back to my shuddering Sea Breeze days.

Thankfully, after the first use, I really fell in love with this toner (it’s awful how Sea Breeze turned me off from toners for so long). If you’re a nature lover, the scent of this will capture and place you in a meadow filled with wildflowers and fresh leaves, just amazingly refreshing. A few drops on a cotton pad is all I needed to remove any remaining dirt and grimey residue from my day. Although I typically use this at night, it is perfect day and/ or night. Key ingredients that make me smile: aloe juice, Vitamin E, Fruit stem cells, Ubiquinone, Rooibos, Vitamin C and White Tea.

After 3 weeks of using this toner, it helped cleanse my skin an extra step further, minimized my pore appearance and prepped my skin ready to absorb + drink anything that was going on next. I feel this to be a worthwhile product to add into the cleansing step of my skin care regimen, without using ethyl alcohol as the main ingredient which is so typical as well as drying in astringent toners.
